Tuesday, June 12th The artists will arrive on the morning of Wednesday, June 1st, have their canvases stamped and then begin painting throughout Los Gatos and its surrounding hills and communities. Look for us around the area!
June 13th–15th Artists will continue to paint until 5:00 p.m. Friday evening.
Friday Evening, June 15th, 6:30-10:00 p.m. — VIP Artists Reception and Silent Auction. This is a ticketed event and includes a sneak preview of the artist’s choice paintings, with guests having the opportunity to meet the artists, and to purchase the artists’ favorite works while enjoying the music of the acoustic soul/pop duo Almost Honest, fine wine, and gourmet appetizers.
Saturday, June 16th. 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. — Fine Art Exhibit and Silent Auction, Los Gatos Town Plaza. The public and artists gather at the Los Gatos Town Plaza to view the framed paintings. Admission is free. Enjoy wine from local wineries and mingle with the artists while viewing the treasures of the town and bay area as depicted on canvas. Listen to live music, watch artists paint, and bid on work for purchase at the silent auction portion of the day. The exhibit is juried and an awards presentation will take place at the end of the day.

SEDONA PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL is an homage to the spirit and innovation of the great French Impressionists whose paintings were based on the belief that 'you should trust your eyes' to capture the beauty that surrounds you. As with the old masters, contemporary plein-air artists paint from life in the out-of-doors (en plein air), capturing moments in time that reflect the ever-changing colors, light and shadows, temperature and shifting elements. The art form requires stamina, focus, and the ability to be completely absorbed in the work regardless of what Mother Nature is throwing at them. There is no setting more perfect than Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon in late October to find vibrant, unexpected scenic beauty. It is truly an artist's paradise. Thirty-two award-winning artists, selected from among the best of the best, have accepted invitations to participate in this unique artistic showcase. They are coming from all over the United States to spend eight days painting en plein air, and to sharetheir incredible talent and unique experiences with this challenging art form.
